246011111! No, not really. But seriously, who am I and why should you care?

Well, here's a few fun facts about me:
I'm a college student in Indiana currently majoring in English Studies and minoring in both Film/Screenwriting and Theatre. I received an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts through a community college in 2017, and I hope to (finally) graduate from my current college with a Bachelor’s degree in 2020. I've taken a bunch of writing classes in professional writing, creative writing, screenwriting, and rhetoric and writing to grow my writing skills; and classes in film studies, reading and writing about literature, and literature and gender to grow my analytical skills.
Right now, I work in the food service industry, serving cupcakes to customers at a cupcake shop on weekends and baking desserts at a dining hall at Ball State on weekdays. During my time at Ball State, I had the opportunity to serve as an assistant stage manager on the production of Detroit ’67 by Dominique Morrisseau and it rocked my world! And when I'm not working or studying, I love reading classic books like Les Miserables, binging the TV show Supernatural, watching thrillers like Shutter Island, drinking blueberry tea, and cuddling with my black cat, Selina. Though native to Indiana, I've traveled to Europe twice, and someday hope to live there.
Whew, that was boring. Okay, now for the good stuff! Why do I write?
